It was the greatest night in music! This year's Ibor Awards were the best! A completely unique show that took place on January 20th 2016. 

As every year we awarded the best from the best! This year's big winner was Andy Burrows who received 4 Ibor Awards. He won the awards for Artist Of The Year (the second most important award of the night), as well as the most important award for Album Of The Year! He also won the awards for Best Male Solo Artist and Best Pop Album.

Although Marina Kaye has the most nominations this year (8), she left the Awards with three, including Best Pop Single, Best Pop Performance and Lyrics Of The Year for Homeless.

Years & Years, Honne, The School, Girls In Hawaii and Adele all won two awards! Coastal Love by Honne won the awards for Single Of The Year and for Best Electronic/Dance Single while Adele's Hello won the awards for Performance Of The Year and for Best Soul/RnB Performance. We must mention that her new album 25 was not eligible for this year's Ibor Awards and it will be eligible for the Ibor Awards 2017!

Years & Years won also two awards. One for Best Breakthrough Act and one for the Biggest-Selling Act Of The Year! The School won the awards for Best Group and for Best Alternative/Rock Album, while Girls In Hawaii's Connection won the awards for Best Alternative/Rock Single and Best Alternative/Rock Performance, bringing their total to 5 Ibor Awards so far!

Other notable mentions are Lana Del Rey winning for Best Female Solo Artist, her first ever Ibor Award and Florence & The Machine won for Video Of The Year, also their first ever Ibor Award!

Giorgio Moroder won the award for Best Electronic/Dance Album for Deja Vu and Ariana Grande received her first ever Ibor Award for Collaboration Of The Year.

Concluding, the night closed with Modern Talking receiving the award for their contribution to music and a special performance singing their best hits!!
